A Part of History: The NEW Lyon County Museum

SW Minnesota has quite the history, and now you can become more familiar with it than ever before. The Lyon County Museum, now OPEN and ready for visitors, is kicking off its opening with an exhibit on early healthcare in Lyon County.

Now, that's cool, but guess what's also cool.

We got to be a part of it!

The exhibit includes several standing panels featuring information and images about various aspects of Lyon County healthcare -- doctors, buildings, administration, procedures, doctor slips, etc. We had the privilege of printing and installing those panels on StickIt, our peel & stick repositionable fabric. They all went up very nicely, and seem to add a unique dimension to the place. Once the exhibit is due to be updated, the plan is to remove the panels and store them for later use.

It was a blast to work with the Lyon County Historical Society staff throughout the process. We got to learn a TON about Lyon County history as a whole, as well as what made healthcare in this region so unique.

If you haven't visited the museum at it's new location (the old library in Marshall), we strongly recommend it. They've got some impressive stuff in there beyond this exhibit, and it's all worth seeing for yourself! For more information, check out museum's Facebook page here.

Have a great day!
